Why Food Wrapped In Aluminium Foil Is Harmful ?

In the present article we are going to discuss why the use of aluminium foil for wrapping of heating food is dangerous to human body. Today most of the people in the world are using aluminium foil for wrapping food. They are unaware of the hidden harms of this aluminium foil. Aluminium foil is not a good thing to wrap or to heat food. Aluminium is highly reactive metal and it reacts with the food processed in aluminium utensils or wrapped in aluminium foil. When we wrap food in aluminium foil it leach out and make it harmful for our health. More the food is heated more will be the leaching. It is more reactive to the acidic and spicier food. It is easily absorbed by the acidic food. So it is not recommended to make food in aluminium pots and wrap in aluminium foil. 



Today most of the household use oven for cooking. The food to be cooked into oven is first wrapped in the aluminium foil and then it is heated inside the oven. Due to the heat aluminium is leached out and is absorbed by the food. Leaching is found more in acidic and spicy food. People used to cook meat in oven which is first wrapped in the aluminium foil and that meat is aluminium contaminated. It does not depend on whether the food wrapped is in contact with shiny side or dull side. On both sides the effect on food is same and the same amount of aluminium is absorbed by the food. The amount of absorption depends on the time spent in the oven and on the temperature of the oven during cooking.

When aluminium is entered through food inside our body our digestion system is unable to digest it. So it is accumulated in our body in our liver, kidneys, bones and in our brain tissues. Due to this people can suffer from abdominal pain or feel tired. Its accumulation goes on increasing because our excreta system is unable to extract it from our body. If the extent of aluminium is increased to a significant amount it can even cause end or our life. It affects our nervous system and cause disease like Alzheimer and depression. it cause memory loss and anxiety. A significant amount of aluminium is found in the brain tissues of the patient suffering from Alzheimer diseases. This is caused due the food wrapped in aluminium foil or cooked in aluminium pots.

However we can wrap cold food like soft bread or sandwiches. But never wrap acidic food in aluminium foil. Never wrap vegetables like tomatoes in aluminium foil.

              All the above diseases are very dangerous and are caused due the use of aluminium foil and aluminium utensils. So it is recommended not to use aluminium foil for wrapping food or for heating food. So stop using aluminium foil and also all aluminium kitchen ware these are not good for our health. So say no to these aluminium items and live a healthy life.
